Love this idea but wish the details were a bit more. I'm curious on the bead sizes. The 6/0 does this mean 6mm bead size. Would like to try and make these for my daughter. Maybe even a short video to show the steps.
Ok great thanks for the quick response. I do have some plastic pony beads on hand so maybe I'll use those as a test run first. Any suggestions where would be a good place to get the appliques on the web?

ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it! Woman's World Magazine has very limited space for the Kids' Crafts, we know! But this craft is pretty easy once you get started.
ReplyDeleteThe bead size "6/0" is also known as "Pony Bead" or "E" bead. It's about 4mm. The 2/0 bead is larger, about 6mm.

ReplyDeleteLove the project but I'm finding it hard to locate 2/0 beads. Where did you purchase the ones used in the project?
ReplyDeleteThanks ^_^
We got them at Joann's. They have them on their web site. Search for "Beader's Paradise" or "2/0". They come in a tube. Lots of great colors!
